Managing User-Uploaded Assets in the Media Library.
When End Users upload content (photos, logos, etc) into templates, those assets are stored in their My Assets area under My Stuff in the top navigation bar.
Once stored here, users with the permission Can See My Assets can view their assets stored in the User Uploads section of the Media Library. User-uploaded assets are not visible to other End Users; system administrators can see all user-uploaded assets by reviewing the User Uploads folder.
End User can navigate their My Assets area by:
- Using Text Search: Users can search assets by using searching words in the asset's title, or description or by typing in the asset ID. Note that using multiple words in the search phrase will narrow the search results rather than expand them.
- Using "Filter Asset View": Users can filter the assets they uploaded and also the assets they've downloaded from the Media Library or My Assets area.
- Using the Previous and Next Buttons
End User permissions required for user-uploaded asset management:
- View My Assets Link: Can see My Assets
- View document meta-data in My Assets: Can see My Assets
- Download asset in My Assets: Can download assets from the Media Library
- Share (pin) asset from My Assets: Can Manage Boards
- Delete asset from My Assets: Can delete all assets. Note this permission is also tied to deleting assets from the Media Library. These permissions cannot be separated.
