Getting to Know "Document Settings" for Print Templates

Parts of the Document Settings Interface for Print Layout-Based Templates.

Document Name: The end user can give the document a name that is unique to them. For example, if the template is named "Brand Display" and it will be used in Texas an end user could name the document "Brand Flyer for Texas". This will be relevant when searching for the document in "My Documents".

Description: Give the template a description

Default Font: Specify a default font (optional).

Measurement Type: For print templates measurement types are inches or millimeters

Width and Height: Change the document width/height. For print templates, the default size will be 8.5" x 11"

Bleed: For print templates, bleed is .125" by default. It may be removed, if desired.

Media: Media is the area outside the document dimensions that will hold printer's marks such as crop marks and registration marks.  It should be slightly larger than the bleed. The default is .333" and may be adjusted.

OK: Saves your changes.
