Administrators can use services in various ways to achieve desired segmentation views.
"Services" at the asset category level limit broad access to this category. For example, some locations (like Colorado or New York) may need access to mountain photography. A category could have the "Mountain" service. In this situation, Colorado and New York have full access to the "Mountain" Category but Florida doesn't.
When "Services" are utilized only at the asset level, it means those with access to the category have access to only certain items within this category. Using the "Mountain" service example, all locations could have access to the "Mountain" category but have their view limited; New York can only photos of the Catskills Mountains and Colorado only sees photos of the Rockies.
When combined, "Services" at the category and asset levels creates a very narrow field of view for the end user. As an example, our "Mountain" category may only be accessible by New York, Colorado and California. In addition, New York only sees photos of the Catskills, Colorado only sees photos of the Rockies and California only see photos of the Sierra Nevadas.
