How to set up an option to allow end users to download from the campaign without having to go through template customization.
“Direct Download” allows your end users the option to directly download the document straight to their computer without having to go through the customization process. Any template that has a requirement to change cannot be selected for direct download.
Dynamic Content in Downloaded Documents
Users can download documents that contain dynamic content such as the user’s name and address without going through the customization process. Please note the following:
- Location information will be based on the account the user is logged in to
- Direct Download is not supported in dynamically sized campaigns
- Direct Download is not supported for templates that are included in batch generation campaigns
- Direct Download is not supported in templates that have anything that requires a change.
To Enable the Direct Download Option for a Template
Click the “Admin” option from the top navigation bar and click on the “Content” tab.
From the “Campaign” section, select the “Campaign Management” link:
From the individual campaign list, select the relevant campaign and click “Manage” button located on the right side of the page
To select template you want to enable for direct download, click on the gear icon located on the right of the template name
From “User Options”, enable “Direct” by switching the toggle “On”
